Eucharist
About the Sacrament
The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. In this sacrament, we receive the very Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ under the appearances of bread and wine.
Preparation and Requirements
Our First Holy Communion preparation is a two-year program for children, typically for those in Grades 1 and 2. Classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in our school classrooms. For adults wishing to receive the Eucharist, preparation is offered through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program, which meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM.
