About the Sacrament
Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church. It includes three degrees: bishop, priest, and deacon.
Preparation and Requirements
The Church calls some of its members to serve the people of God as ordained ministers. If you feel you might have a vocation to the priesthood or the permanent diaconate, we encourage you to speak with one of our parish priests. They can provide guidance, support, and information on the discernment process and the journey of a religious vocation.
